Bart is a visionary financial and operationally minded executive with a proven record of growing revenue and profits by developing people and systems to achieve reliable, repeatable, and predictable results.

Most recently, Bart served as the CFO for DEFENDERS, the nation’s largest ADT Security dealer. Bart joined DEFENDERS in 2007 when the company was $50MM in revenue and over 13 years was integral to growing it to $600MM. In 2019, Bart led the integration and was a key negotiator in selling DEFENDERS to ADT.

While at DEFENDERS, Bart led all financial, risk management, and shared services teams, partnering with the board of directors, shareholders, and external partners to achieve annual and strategic objectives. He also led the annual strategic and operating planning process for DEFENDERS. The key to his success has been his ability to build financial capabilities to manage the business based on leading, real-time metrics, and using data to drive decision making.

Prior to DEFENDERS, Bart spent time working for Intel, IPS-Sendero, and First Indiana Bank. He holds his MBA from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and his B.S from Miami University. Bart was named the CFO of the Year by the Indianapolis Business Journal in 2013.
