Carol is a coach, facilitator, leader, communicator, and community builder. She focuses on helping
individuals and teams consciously decide who they want to become, and then facilitates the process to
make that transformation happen.
Carol’s work spans across levels and organizations, from the C-suite to director level, big four firms to
start-ups. In her one-one-one work, she works closely with leaders to help them identify their core values,
improve their leadership, create a vision for their future, and build fulfilling lives and careers. With
leadership teams and in focused group work, Carol helps leaders improve their team dynamics and gain
organizational clarity by facilitating workshops on a number of topics, including strategic planning, roles &
responsibilities, team communication, effective feedback, and managing conflict.
Carol previously served as the Chief Communications & Marketing Officer for USA Gymnastics, where she
oversaw communications, marketing, events and partnerships. Prior to that, she spent nine years with Vail Resorts in Colorado, where she started as in-house legal counsel before moving on to become the first Chief of Staff to the CEO, and then Vice President of Communications and Marketing Operations. Prior to joining Vail Resorts, Carol started her legal career as an attorney with Gibson Dunn in Los Angeles.
Carol previously served on the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, a seven-member, bipartisan board aimed
at helping to end illegal discrimination in Colorado, as well as the Board of Directors for The Girls Athletic
Leadership School of Denver (GALS), which seeks to empower girls to succeed academically, thrive
physically, lead confidently, and live boldly. Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and a Juris Doctor, both from the University of Southern California.
Carol is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion; a champion of women and girls; and a
